Titusville, Fla., native Spc. Corey Maier, a tanker with Troop D, 2nd Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, checks to make sure his bag meets the space requirements for a flight to Kuwait. Along with Maier, nearly 60 other Soldiers from the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division left Fort Hood, Texas, for Kuwait on June 16 on their way to a 15-month deployment to Iraq.
