Sgt. Jason Cyr, from Lewiston, Maine, a Soldier in Company C, 133rd Engineer Battalion, headquartered in Belfast, Maine, uses a table saw to cut lumber that will be used in a reconstruction project near the Rabiyah Gate in Iraq, a main border crossing between Iraq and Syria. The 133rd Soldiers are renovating a border fort near Rabiyah Gate to improve security at the borders between the two countries. Iraqs leaders know that terrorists, weapons and money enter the country illegally across the border between Iraq and Syria. Once in Iraq, terrorists are attacking Iraqi Security Forces, Iraqi citizens and Multinational Forces in an attempt to disrupt the democratic process. The 133rd has been deployed to northern Iraq as a part of the Multinational Brigade-Northwest in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II.
