Spc. Pat Edwards, a member of the New York Army National Guard's Buffalo-based 152nd Engineer Company, uses a bulldozer to remove rocks and other flood debris from Otsquago Creek July 4. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo called up the company and other soldiers of the 204th Engineer Battalion to remove flood debris and prevent further flood damage in the Mohawk Valley. In addition to other missions, the engineer soldiers removed an island of debris which had choked the Otsquago Creek's flow. Edwards is from Ogdensburg, N.Y.
