Nobutaka Minamikawa, Japan Ministry of Defense Training and Exercise section chief, to Australia for Talisman Saber 2013 July 15 at Rockhampton Airport. Minamikawa is a representative from the Japan Self-Defense Force who will be observing the exercise. Talisman Saber is a biennial exercise focused on training a combined task force in a simulated mid-intensity conflict scenario including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
