Officer Candidate Micheal Dykstra, of Shawnee, Okla., moves pallets during a community service project at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Dykstra is a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard's Officer Candidate School class 58. The class spent a day at the Regional Food Bank helping the staff with a number of tasks to include preparing sack lunches for children across the metro. In his civilian career, Dykstra is a carpenter with Lingo Construction. He has been a member of the U.S. Army, Army Reserve and Oklahoma Army National Guard for a total of six years.
