Officer Candidate Brian Reed, of Edmond, Okla., places a drink box into a lunch sack during a community service project at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Reed is a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard's Officer Candidate School class 58. The class spent a day at the Regional Food Bank helping the staff with a number of tasks to include preparing sack lunches for children across the metro. In his civilian career, Reed is a graduate assistant at the University of Central Oklahoma where he also studies engineering physics.
