Marines assigned to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU) wait on a landing craft unit to launch from the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harper's Ferry (LSD 49). Harper's Ferry is underway off the coast of Southern California conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX).
