Capt. Maureen Padden, commanding officer, Naval Hospital Pensacola, is presented the 2012 Federal Health Care Executive Award for Excellence by Rich Umbdenstock, American Health Association president and CEO, July 25 in San Diego. In 2005, Vice Adm. Mathew Nathan, surgeon general of the Navy, also earned the same award from the AHA when he was the commanding officer of Naval Hospital Pensacola.
