1st Lt. David Hogan, Combat Logistics Battalion 22, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit assistant operations officer and native of Augusta, Ga., is inverted in a shallow water egress trainer at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 29, 2013. The SWET trainer allows Marines and sailors to practice exiting an aircraft in the event of a water landing. The MEU is scheduled to deploy in early 2014 to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious missions across the full range of military operations.
