Local men herd cattle into a cattle crush for vaccination and treatment during a mass vaccination of cattle, livestock, poultry and canines in Te-Tugu, Gulu District, Uganda. The Soldiers and Sailors assigned to the 354th Civil Affairs Brigade deployed to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, are conducting a veterinary civil action project. This is phase two of a four-phase project aimed at improving the overall health of village animals while training and educating Ugandan veterinarians. Vacancies ranged from the treatment and prevention of encephalitis and rabies to the eradication of several forms of intestinal parasites.
