A portion of the soldiers that attended a Kizuna Project presentation pose for a photo with the project delegates following the presentation. The Kizuna Project is sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help spread awareness of what took place on March 11, what is happening now, and to express their appreciation for the relief aid to the people of Japan.
According to one of the project delegates, this was the only opportunity that the group had to present to a U.S. military audience while in the U.S. for the past six months. The group expressed that this was a dream of theirs’ before they returned to Japan next month.
