PARRIS ISLAND, S.C. - Recruits of Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, assaulted a combat training course Aug. 23, 2013, on Parris Island, S.C.
Recruits maneuvered over and under various obstacles through the course to test their newly obtained basic combat skills, such as communication and techniques for moving in a combat environment, which they will build upon and use for the rest of their Marine Corps careers. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Sept. 13, 2013.
