Recruiting Station Jacksonville holds All-Women pool function

The Command of Recruiting Station Jacksonville, Florida, gathered all the female poolees from its recruiting sub-stations, in order to prepare them for future endeavors as they take on the challenge of becoming Marines. The command also had the opportunity to further evaluate the female poolees for potential assignment in previously closed combat arms Military Occupational Specialties.

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. - Marine Corps Recruiting Station Jacksonville, Fla., held an all-women pool function at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, Oct. 31, 2014. The Command Held the function in an effort to further evaluate the potential for assignment in previously closed combat arms Military Occupational Specialties for women.

The poolees also had the chance to experience a little bit of what awaits for them at Parris Island. The command brought two Drill Instructors, so they can have a glimpse of what they will face during recruit training.
