Mrs./Capt. Leanna Maschino (Litsch) enlisted into the Oklahoma Army National Guard in December 2010 as a human resource specialist. She joined Oklahoma's public affairs team in August 2012, later commissioning as a second lieutenant in May 2013 and becoming a signal officer in March 2014 and public affairs officer in May 2014. Maschino holds a bachelor's degree in Film and Video Studies and a master's degree in Journalism Professional Writing, both from the University of Oklahoma.
Maschino has served in a variety of public affairs positions, including in Lithuania in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve in June 2014 and as the PAO for the Kabul Security Force in Kabul, Afghanistan in support of the NATO-led Operation Resolute Support from December 2017-September 2018.
Maschino currently works full-time in the Oklahoma National Guard public affairs office located in Oklahoma City.
