Technical Sergeant Mary E. Greenwood is a Public Affairs Specialist at the 115th Fighter Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard, Truax Field, Madison, Wisconsin. As the Fighter Wing’s Broadcast Journalist, Social Media Manager, and Graphic Designer she conducts and creates media derived from command information disseminated in various platforms to the unit’s members the public.
Tech. Sgt. Greenwood enlisted in August 2009 and graduated from Wichita Falls Air Force Base for aerospace propulsion in August 2010. She began her first assignment at the 115th Fighter Wing, Truax Field, Wisconsin, as an aerospace propulsion mechanic. Tech. Sgt. Greenwood then became a 115th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Specialist – Broadcast Journalist. She was awarded first place in the 2018 National Guard Bureau media Contest for Graphic Designer of the Year category for outstanding achievements in furthering the objectives of the Air National Guard and Department of Defense Information Programs. Prior to her current position, Tech. Sgt. Greenwood was an Aerospace Propulsion Craftsman and prepared student flight members for Basic Training. Tech. Sgt Greenwood also acts as the secondary Fighter Wing Staff Unit Training Monitor.
