Sergeant Daniela Lechuga is currently stationed in Camp Humphreys, South Korea, assigned to Media Bureau - Pacific, American Forces Network.
Her previous assignments include the 19th Public Affairs Detachment, and 1st Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade at Fort Riley, Kansas.
Within her first year at Fort Riley, Lechuga participated in five temporary duty assignments, telling the story of the Big Red One through photography, videography, and journalism.
She attended Defense Information School at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, and graduated on Sept. 14, 2022. Lechuga went to Fort Jackson, South Carolina, for Basic Combat Training on Jan. 11, 2022, and graduated on March 24.
She graduated from West Side High School in Newark, New Jersey in 2021, and joined the Army to pursue an education in communications. Lechuga was born in Newark, N.J. on Aug. 21, 2002.
