The U.S. worked with the Gabonese Agence National des Parcs Nationaux during a Joint Combined Exchange Training. JCETs offer valuable opportunities for U.S. and African partner forces to share experiences and best practices while strengthening the African partner’s ability to counter threats effectively and reinforcing the close security partnership between the U.S and Gabon. IVATO, Madagascar – U.S. and Malagasy forces concluded a six-week Joint Combined Exchange Training in Madagascar, June 30, 2025. Members of 3rd Special ForcesGroup (Airborne) and Malagasy Gendarmerie's Groupe de Securite et d'Intervention Speciale (GSIS) trained together to enhance joint readiness and interoperability, contributing to a more secure environment in Madagascar.
