Georgia National Guard, British reserve, and Canadian reserve soldiers train together as part of the 48th Highlanders alliance. Training with the three Canadian regiments, The Queen's Own Rifles, 48th Highlanders, and the Royal Regiment of Canada, at the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team's eXportable Combat Training Capabilities (XCTC) exercise provides interoperability amongst services. The 140 Canadian soldiers were evaluated by trainer/mentor teams from the 188th Infantry Brigade on their combat skills for a platoon ambush lane. Thirty-two Canadian Brigade Group (32 CBG) is an Army Reserve Formation of the 4th Canadian Division and is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario.
