An Apache AH-47 attack helicopter lays down suppressing fire while Georgia Army National Guardsman with Alpha Company, 2-121, 48th Infantry Battalion, participate in a combined arms live-fire exercise at Georgia Garrison Training Center, Fort Stewart, Ga. Alpha Company set up defensive position on top of a hill to deny enemy advancement into their area of operations when they came on line and provided defensive live-fire.
Alpha Company, along with the 48th Brigade participated in an eXportable Combat Training Capabilities (XCTC) training at Fort Stewart designed to provide Soldiers with an experience similar to combat missions overseas.
