Rear Adm. James Stevenson, is presented a key to the city of Jacksonville by Mayor John Peyton during the 4th Fleet re-establishment ceremony held at Naval Station Mayport, during which Stevenson also retired. U.S. 4th Fleet's mission will be to direct assigned forces in the U.S. Southern Command Area of Focus and conduct a full spectrum of Maritime Security Operations in support of activities that promote coalition building and deter aggression within the maritime environment.
