Marissa Wentling receives the Iron Mike Award for the first quarter 2013 during a ceremony at the Fort Bragg Club, July 30. Marissa, her husband, Spc. Matthew Wentling, 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, and their two children, Marisol and Kaleb, were named the first runner up, 2013 Association of the United States Army Volunteer Family of the Year. “Time is precious and we recognize that it takes our volunteers to help take care of our families,” said Lt. Col. William Braman, 3-82 GSAB commander. “The Wentling family has gone out of their way to take care of this unit and their community in every way they could. We couldn’t be more proud of them.”
