An Iraqi SWAT team member patrols alongside a Soldier from the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, July 12. Together the Iraqi policemen and the "Bastogne" Soldiers of the 101st, apprehended six suspected insurgents in addition to locating and destroying two vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices. Revered for its prowess at air assaults, the "Bastogne" Soldiers have seen Iraqi security forces mature into a well-disciplined, credible fighting force.
