Iraqi SWAT policemen smile and cheer after a successful air assault mission with Soldiers of the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division. Together the Iraqi policemen and Soldiers from the 1st STB, 1st BCT, 101st Airborne Div., apprehended six suspected insurgents in addition to locating and destroying two vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices. Revered for its prowess at air assaults, the "Bastogne" Soldiers have seen Iraqi security forces mature into a well-disciplined, credible fighting force.
