Riveting experience: Sgt. James W. Decker, a gunner on an M1A1 handles maintenance on the tank. The Calhoun, Ga. resident who is with C Co., 1st Battalion, 108th Armor Regiment says changing the 320 pads on his tanks is important in the blistering Iraq heat in Yusifeyah.
"For the record," Decker added, "there's no air conditioning in these (tanks). When it's 120 degrees outside you can add 15-20 more inside this bucket."
