Command Sgt. Major Erik R.R. Frey, the 4th Sustainment Brigade command sergeant major recognizes Sgt. Ian Stewart from the 553rd Combat-Service Support Battalion by 'coining' him for excellence in filling the Non-commissioned Officer-in-Charge position for the battalion electronic and signal section for the past year, a level that is meant for a Sgt. 1st Class. Frey, the senior enlisted advisor for the 4th Sustainment Brigade from Fort Hood, Texas, sets the standard for the performance, training, appearance and the conduct for all enlisted members in the brigade. Frey, a food service specialist, came to the Wrangler Brigade after a tour as the 29th Commandant of the 7th Army Non-Commissioned Officer Academy in Europe.
