Airman 1st Class Antione Eaddy loosens a strake strap that will be assembled onto a GBU-38 Joint Direct Attack Munition, Aug. 7, 2008. The JDAM contains an inertial navigational system and a GPS guidance control unit that improves the accuracy of general purpose bombs in any weather condition. Airman Eaddy, a munitions handler with the 332nd Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, is deployed from Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. His hometown is Detroit.
