Staff Sgt. Tom Dulley cleans the threading inside the fuse well on a GBU-38 Joint Direct Attack Munition, Aug. 7, 2008. The JDAM contains an inertial navigational system and a GPS guidance control unit that improves the accuracy of general purpose bombs in any weather condition. Sergeant Dulley, a munitions handler with the 332nd Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, is deployed from Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., and is originally from Cedar Hill, Tenn.
