Lt. Cmdr. John A. Lynott, senior orthopedic surgeon with Camp Taqaddum Surgical, 1st Supply Battalion (-) (Reinforced), 1st Marine Logistics Group, works with Iraqi army Maj. Tahseen Muallah, medical officer from Camp Habbaniyah, in the operating room, Aug. 21, 2008. The surgery marked the first time the two forces have worked together in the operating room. The duo successfully removed fragmentation from the leg of an Iraqi policeman who was injured in 2006.
