U.S. Army Capt. Ryan Swisher, commander of Apache Troop, 1st Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, shares a laugh with his executive officer during a field training exercise on Fort Hood, Dec. 10, 2013. Swisher took the initiative to contact the Fort Hood Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness Program center and arrange to have performance experts train and evaluate his soldiers during the exercise. Performance enhancement is a part of the Army's Ready and Resilient Campaign and uses the same techniques that sports psychologists use with professional athletes. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
