More than 1,200 Marines and sailors participated in the massive, three-mile formation run. The run was the first event of a six-month training period and subsequent six-month deployment. Hall emphasized the Marines and sailors were now one team and would soon serve as ambassadors of the Marine Corps and the United States of America.
