    Louisiana National Guard

Members of the Louisiana National Guard drive by debris, including children's toys, littering Highway 27 which leads into the isolated community of Hackberry, La. After Hurricane Ike left behind more water than either the Black Lake to the west or Calcasieu Lake to the east of Hackberry could contain, the Guard members came in to support search and rescue missions.
