Tim Nelson, with the 2nd Squadron, 16th Cavalry Regiment, 199th Infantry Brigade, with his first place trophy, March 15, following the 2014 Chesty Puller 13.1 Trail Race. Nelson, of Augusta, Wis., placed first, overall, with a time of 1:28:24, averaging a 6:45-mile pace.
