Marines with Light Armored Reconnaissance Platoon, Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, ready their Light Armored Vehicle for the LAV maneuver assault course on Sept. 25, 2008, aboard Fort Pickett, Va., a Virginia Army National Guard Maneuver Training Center. The Marines of BLT 3/2 are conducting off-site training, the first major exercise of a six-month pre-deployment training cycle for the 22nd MEU.
