Chief Warrant Officer Stephen Giove, band officer of the Parris Island Marine Band, conducts the band during a performance, at the University of South Carolina-Beaufort in Beaufort, S.C., on March 21, 2014. They performed an assortment of musical pieces, including numerous jazz pieces and traditional military songs. The band performs at many events throughout the Eastern United States each year, including recruit graduations on Parris Island S.C. The Parris Island Jazz Band is scheduled to perform at the Soft Shell Crab Festival in Port Royal, S.C., on April 19, 2014.
