Petty Officer 3rd Class Jennifer Janes works as a break rider in the cockpit of an F/A- 18C Hornet assigned to the "Stingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron 113 as it is moved onto elevator two of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The Reagan has four aircraft elevators, which are used to carry aircraft and equipment from the hangar bay to the flight deck. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
