Seaman Ryan A. Zehnder, a hospital corpsman with Combat Logistics Battalion 22, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, from St. Charles Mo., ties a tourniquet while waiting for litter bearers to evacuate a role player acting as an injured Marine during a massive casualty exercise, Sept. 30, 2008, aboard Fort Pickett, Va., a Virginia Army National Guard Maneuver Training Center. The exercise was part of the CLB's off-site training, which is the unit's first major training evolution for the 22nd MEU's Pre-deployment Training Program. CLB-22, the logistics combat element of the 22nd MEU, is scheduled for a six-month deployment early next year.
