A Marine with Combat Logistics Battalion 22, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, carries a role-playing casualty to the evacuation point during a massive casualty exercise, Oct. 2, 2008, aboard Fort Pickett, Va., a Virginia Army National Guard Maneuver Training Center. The exercise was part of the CLB's off-site training, the first major training evolution of the 22nd MEU's six-month pre-deployment training cycle. The 22nd MEU is scheduled to deploy next spring.
