Cpl. Walter C. Patrick, 25, from Lakeland, Fla., and Lance Cpl. Brandon L. Hankison, 19, from Lancaster, Ohio, both part of the security element with Camp Taqaddum Surgical, 1st Maintenance Battalion (-) (Reinforced), 1st Marine Logistics Group, help transport a "casualty" during a mass casualty drill, Oct. 31, 2008. The drill required the staff to treat multiple patients with a variety of wounds. These scenarios tested the staff's ability to react in a timely manner to situations they may encounter in a combat environment.
