Republic of Korea Marine Lance Cpl. Hwang Hy Sung, right, and U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Ivan T. Kelley operate field radio systems April 22 during the Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-6 near the Hysong River in Pohang, Republic of Korea. KMEP is a regularly scheduled, combined, small-unit training exercise, which enhances the combat readiness and interoperability of ROK and U.S. Marine Corps forces. Kelley is a Wells, Nev., native and ground radio repairer with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Hwang is from Gyeongsangbuk-Do, Republic of Korea, and serves as a signalman with the 1st ROK Marine Engineer Battalion, 1st ROK Marine Division.
