Royal Air Force Corporal Jon Watt attaches a servo actuator cover to the diagonal tail of an MQ-9 Reaper at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Nov. 22. A coalition force of experts from the U.S. Air Force and Royal Air Force deployed here to man a new Reaper aircraft maintenance unit. The unit is attached to the 46th Expeditionary Reconnaissance and Attack Squadron and assumed maintenance duties from General Atomics, which produces the Reaper for these services. Watt, a Reaper avionics specialist assigned to the 332nd Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, is deployed from Creech Air Force Base, Nev. His hometown is Plymouth, England.
