BAGHDAD, IRAQ -- Pfc. Andrew Kring, a military police Soldier from Colombia City, Ind., with the 1/10th Mountain Division's Brigade Special Troops Battalion, scans his sector as he conducts dismounted security election day Dec. 15 in the Abu Ghraib area of western Baghdad. The convoy had to stop to change a flat tire. With the new modular Brigade Combat Team concept, MPs are assigned to Army brigades assigned to BSTBs. The BSTB MP's main missions in Iraq are convoy security, route security and facilitating detainee transfers. (U.S. Army Photo by Spc. Emily Wilsoncroft, 3rd Infantry Divison Public Affairs)
