Soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, conduct pre-combat checks on their brand new M1114 Humvees at Camp Striker near the Baghdad International Airport Dec. 9. The Airborne Soldiers were given four days notice to prepare for their current mission to augment the 1st Cavalry Division in Baghdad. They are able to deploy anywhere in the world within 18 hours.
