The National Guard Bureau's senior enlisted adviser, Chief Master Sgt. Mitchell O. Brush, began his three-day tour of the Georgia National Guard with a working breakfast hosted by the Adjutant General of Georgia, Jim Butterworth, and the state's senior enlisted advisor Chief Master Sgt. Joseph Greene. Brush spent the 72-hours in the peach state doing what he loves most; connecting with Georgia's Citizen-Warriors. Brush believes in promoting the future of America's Guard and spoke candidly with the senior leaders about the Guard's responsibility to community and encouragement to our Warriors. "We are more than 39-days a year," Brush said. "We are that hand in an emergency and when we pull our citizens to safety they don't see a uniform, they see a friend."
