Cpl. Kevin E. Kusler maintains a low profile while he crawls over a stone wall during the jungle endurance course June 20 at the Jungle Warfare Training Center on Camp Gonsalves, Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, Marine Corps Installations Pacific. During training, Marines and sailors must move tactically through the course just as they would during combat operations in a jungle environment. Kusler is a Bradenton, Fla., native and machine gunner with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, which is currently assigned to 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
