Marines practice launching the Raven B unmanned aerial vehicle during a training course at Camp Taqaddum,, Mar. 31, 2008. The Raven B is the newest UAV system and is used to provide reconnaissance and surveillance at day or night time to increase the user's situational awareness. It can retrieve visual information faster than sending out ground forces to recon the area.
