1st Lt. Devereaux Cannon, Company D, 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division ? Baghdad, discusses outer security with a soldier from the Iraqi army Jan. 11 at the grand opening of the Arab Jabour Iraqi police station. Soldiers, ISF commanders and community leaders welcomed the new security forces during the ceremony. The new IP station greatly increases the number of security forces in the area by providing more uniformed policemen, explained Capt. Kip Kowalski, commander, Co. D, 1st Bn., 505th PIR, attached to the 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div., MND-B.
