The logistics combat element Marines, part of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force – Afghanistan, receive extensive training to recognize and locate potential threats hidden by insurgents under the dirt in Afghanistan. SPMAGTF-A Marines have experience in Afghanistan and are well suited for a variety of missions to support the needs of the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
