Pfc. James Metcalf of Columbia, Missouri, heavy construction equipment operator, 2nd Platoon, 523rd Engineer Company, 84th Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, ground guides a dump truck closer to a hydraulic excavator for a gravel drop during the construction of Combat Outpost Irbil, Jan. 18. The COP is on the outskirts of Irbil, Iraq and will be the new home for several units once they move out of Camp Zaytun so the camp can be turned over to the Iraq ministry of interior.
