Fire Controlman 2nd class Ryan Cinqmars, combat information center, radar system controller, stands watch during the Surface Action Group training event on board USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108). Wayne E. Meyer and a Republic of Singapore Navy ship, RSS Formidable (68), participated in the SAGEX during exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Singapore. In its 20th year, CARAT is a bilateral exercise series between the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor-Leste.
