Petty Officer 1st Class Clarence Perry, U.S. Navy hospital corpsman with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, and a native of Franklin, Va., inspects a Brazilian field medical bag during a bi-lateral medical exchange at Marambaia Island, Brazil, Aug. 5, 2014. During the exchange, Brazilian Naval forces and U.S. Marines and Sailors shared medical tactics as part of a theater security cooperation event with the Logistics Combat Element of SPMAGTF-South. Through close cooperation, the U.S. and its partners are ready to address transnational security challenges through integrated and coordinated approaches.
